That's right folks, ELEVEN DAYS until the ONLY holiday that matters around here, well to me anyway, I think the kids like Christmas. Many preparations have been undertaken thus far, but there is still so much to do!

I went through a long list of options with the boy before he decided on being a scarecrow. Usually my wife makes all of their costumes, but I actually got to make his this year, I think it's coming out pretty well, he can't wait to hide in the cornfield out front and make kids poop themselves.

The yard is almost the same as last year at first glance, I put money into some logistical changes, like LIGHTS THAT WON'T START A FIRE! That and about 18 more pumpkins and some other surprises..shhhhhh. Plus we're putting a lot of focus on the inside of the house for our big annual party this time around, needless to say, there is more to come...

Precious moments...

This isn't exactly Halloween related, but I guess I do make art too. I customized this PLUSHFORM for the upcoming MIDWEST PLUSHFORM SHOW at Shoparooni. I had bigger plans than this, but I liked where it ended up, so I stopped here...which is unlike me.
Stay tuned for more Halloween in the next couple of weeks, oh and maybe some art too. Priorities, people!

screw the plushform, i want to trick or treat at your pad!
I love this plushform! Did you model the teeth part too? Awesome!
aaah, I've been waiting with baited breath for the Ryniak Halloween blogs!
So fun. I love how you guys go all out for Halloween. The whole "poop themselves" comment almost made me snort a noodle from my bowl of chicken noodle soup up my nose, I laughed that hard.
PS. I am hosting a Halloweeny giveaway, something Chloe might take a liking to. So drop on by.
frickin awesome plushform!
my halloween theme this year is "spiders kill thousands of humans leaving tons of skeletal remnants wrapped in their nest(my front porch), whilst vampires lurk in bushes as to pounce and drink your blood/ zombie apocalypse."
but i wish i had more fallen and dead leaves to work with. damn california.
Dood. Your yard looks awesome, I hope those leaves stay nice looking through all this rain!
You're making me feel like a slacker here, I'd better get cranking on my costume!
good stuff chris!
Thanks everybody! I don;t plan on raking leaves til after halloween...they KEEP falling. Funny thing is that we seem to be the only house on the street with leaves on the ground. Awesomely trashY!
